It's Always Something...

And today definitely proves that! We woke up and got all ready for Rachel's dance class. After buckling the kids in, I found out that our car wasn't going to start. Instead of driving to dance class, I walked, Rachel biked, and Aidan scooted. It wasn't too bad, the weather cooperated and the kids did really well. Rachel did a great job in dance class today, she tapped and did her ballet and wasn't shy at all like last week. Jessica stopped by to watch Rachel dance and walked home with us. The strange thing is that once we got back the car started right up, and has started about five times since then. Hopefully it's just a battery and nothing too serious, especially since we already have a coolant leak of some sort. Jason is going to check on it tomorrow for us and hopefully it will be something he can fix. It's really nice to have some of the guys home, especially mechanics.
Anyway, here is my biking ballerina. I took some pictures during dance but they didn't come out so well.

Later it was time for Aidan's little ninjas class. Of course today would be the day he decided he wasn't going to go to class and threw a fit so we left. I was really disappointed because he enjoyed it so much last week and it is so cute to watch. Maybe we will try again next week.
Here's a picture of Aidan impersonating daddy.

Tonight we had a much needed game night. We went over to Jessica's house and hung out with Jess and Jason and Latasha and Zack. We played Scene It on the 360 and Music Scene It and Shout. I had a very good night and kicked butt on all the news questions. All those days spent watching 24 hour news channels is finally paying off :)
And here is just a random picture of me and the kiddos before we left for game night.
